Office Sex

We spend more time in our lives with the people at work than we do with our own families.
Because of this, more and more people are having sex in the workplace.
Think I'm joking? Look at these statistics.

In 2015, in Europe and America, sexually expressed tension is accepted at work. Still, it is not accepted by all people. Many still want to keep work purely professional. If this is the case, it often has the major negative impact on work dynamics. In more extreme cases, flirting can be seen as sexual harassment. If this is the perception, you can quickly find yourself in deep shit. (READ MORE HERE)

The Truth

There are some truths about Corporate America that I wish I knew before starting my job...

1. Butt Kissing - When I was younger I always thought that my talent would carry me to a great career, and that if I just produced, I would be promoted. However, talent only gets you so far, and you really have to kiss some major ass to get ahead in corporate America. In fact, I would argue that you don't even have to be talented to get ahead, if you're a really good ass kisser. I was passed over for a promotion one time for a guy who was not half as smart, or dedicated, or had numbers to support his promotion. However, he was a good butt kisser. I was shocked but no one else was, in fact one of my best friends at the company said, "I saw that coming. He had his head so far up the VP's ass, he could have performed a colonoscopy. "

You're A Bitch

Do you ever look at someone and just think, how do you get through life?
I have several people I know like this and there is that one at work that I would like shake and say, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU. YOU ARE A BITCH.
This person has a horrible personality, one that is fake and changes at the first site of management. This person talks highly to your face but is then nasty behind your back  (bitch we sit in cubes, I can hear you). This person thinks he/she is better than you, when in reality they are such a bad person you think they crawled up from hell and rode satan in to work that day. These people are bitches. Little fucking bitches that I can't stand. I don't know how you get through life and I don't know how the hell you have kept your fucking job all these years.
Rant over.

Life Lessons

Days are long but the years are short.
Be yourself.
Say what you mean. Mean what you say.
Stand up for yourself.
Never let someone make you feel bad about yourself.
Get up, get dressed and go to work, everyone has to, you are no exception.
Spend time in silence.
Turn off your phone, listen to music.
Say I love you every chance you get.
Be happy.
Make sure you tell your kids you are proud of them, their future depends on you.
Help someone who needs it without asking for anything in return.
Sit at a city bus station, you will humbled, and if your not, sit there longer.
Work for what you want, don't take handouts.
Live the life you want, not what someone else wants.
Someone will always have a bigger house, nicer car, better clothes, this does not make them any better than you.
If you don't like someone it's okay, we are not all going to get along.
Do not judge someone for their past, they might be working on their future.
Everyone has a story to tell, listen to someone else, you might learn something.
Money can always be made, but memories are forever.
Do not be jealous of what someone else has, you have everything you need.
If someone doesn't like you, move on, they are not worth your time.
Do not let the amount of money you make dictate who you will be, do what you love.
Read books often, they will open your mind to places you have never known.
Give to charity, your time is worth more than the donation of money.
Say thank you.
Appreciate those who do for you, true friends are rare and should be cherished.
